Since I am up in the middle of the night I am able to catch U2 live on YouTube.
We had beautiful sunshine yesterday. The rain we received the day before certainly took a lot of the leaves off of trees. Some of them are looking quite naked now.
Dearest and four others from the NJ Writer’s group did a program in conjunction with our local library yesterday. The library friends served cider, cookies and brownies. Boy oh boy were those brownies good. They had gooie carmels melted in them. YUM!
I managed to get the upstairs living room accu sucked before we had to head off to the library thing. What cracked me up was finding Kali’s tiny paw prints on the ottoman.
Between a friends book signing and yesterday’s event I got quite a bit done the current sock project. I also fixed something this morning on Dearest’s sweater as I watched Sunday Morning so that project can move along smoothly when it can be worked on.
Oh, go carve yourself a pumpkin!

I awoke – the second time – to a bright sunny morning.
Last night before going to bed I put a ball with a bell in it on the carpet for little Ms. Kali. When I went in this morning it had been played with since I found it in a totally different place.
My office is under attack from the fruit flies. Don’t know why they are in here since I don’t keep fruit fly food in here. ARGH! What a nuisance.
Ok, off to finish the upstairs housework and then back to business.
