I have been listening to an audio book that is filed in the bathtub book category, a type of story that I don’t often read – Pendragon by Catherine Coulter. Actually it is humerously almost pornographic in places. I think this will be the last of hers I will listen to but it has left a once innocent phrase now implanted into my brain that will probably make me burst out in peals of laughter the next time I hear it used - in a different context, of course, …"It’s the done thing”. LOLROF! Nope go read it yourself.

Oh Lordy! I just went to get the next audio book off the shelf and found another Catherine Coulter. It will have to wait a good long while and I will have to be bored beyond belief before it gets listened too. Next up is an old fave by Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451.

The BBC has re-designed its website. ARGH! Why can they just leave a good thing alone? Why is the use of frames so cool? I find them ultra annoying. And then there is the text itself. OK, This could start a rant and I am not into doing that today.

There is a hum of excitement in the house this morning. Tomorrow is the start of the BBC Proms. Here’s the schedule if you’re into it. Note: All concerts are playable for 7 days after they take place.

Just for fun:
Sting - Englishman In New York – and yes, that is Branford Marsalis on the yummy soprano sax

So what brought this on? Sting is touring with the Royal Philharmonic.

And another favourite – with another fave of mine Bryan Adams

Last night we had our first zucchini from the garden. Aren’t they lovely? To bad I bruised the one when bringing them in but we ate it first. Zucchini bread anyone? Yay!

In other news I have finished tea tree oiling 1/2 of the kitchen cabinets. Will continue on today - the end is now in sight.
